Colson Kelly, or Machine Gun Kelly is best known for the unique way he raps. Baker was born in Houston, Texas on April 22 of 1990. He was born into a German as well as an English Scottish family. As a child Baker spent a large period of his time on the road with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed, as Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver with his dad and stayed there for a while. Baker was bullied by other children in his neighborhood because of the poverty he had. In sixth grade, Baker started listening to rap. Colson Baker, better known in the form of Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on April 22nd, 1990. In his music, he is well known for his ability to mix hip-hop style modern and rock. Baker was the author of four mixtapes in 2007 through 2010 before signing with Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who penned lyrics with the velocity that of a fast bullet saw an explosive rise when, at the end of 2011, Baker moved from self-released tracks to well-known labels. The career of this Cleveland rapper rocketed when he released his first mixtape in late 2011.
